despite watching more HK action movies in the space of seven months than pretty much anybody should, I did not recognize the sound of Cantonese when I heard it the other day. In fact, I exclaimed "What the hell are they singing in?"

In my defense, the singer was Skeletor. Come and see the Ray Harryhausen tribute!

Thank you, pjammer, for clearing up the mystery. And thank you, cadhla, for saying they were singing in Skellington. Apparently the Feng Shui rpg is right... everyone, everywhere, in every time frame, speaks Cantonese. Even if they're, you know... Skeletor.

Oh... my... god... that's brilliant.

I've always wondered how Skeletor manages to form the sound "m" in such key words as "He-Man" (and, here, "YMCA") without benefit of lips. Can someone explain this for me?
