Dec. 7th, 2007 11:58 amHm. This looks like interesting to me:
Step #1: Put your iTunes (or other player) on the "Shuffle" setting.
Step #2: Post the first line from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step #3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from. Please don't use Google or any other way to CHEAT, for this spoils the fun for others who actually KNOW the answer.
Step #4: Check off the songs when someone guesses correctly.

Date: 2007-12-07 05:28 pm (UTC)What gets me is that I've got about two albums' worth of normal Christmas music on this thing and I still hit all the novelty pieces first.

Date: 2007-12-07 05:33 pm (UTC)#7 is from Prince of Egypt - the song they're singing at the beginning that segues into Yocheved's lullabye. WHY DON'T I OWN THIS MOVIE ON DVD.
#10 is - well, it's either a trad version of 'The Night That Paddy Murphy Died', or, more likely, the Great Big Sea version, 'The Night Pat Murphy Died'.
#18 is Uncle Kracker, 'Follow Me'.

Date: 2007-12-07 05:38 pm (UTC)7. I don't own the movie either, but I do own the soundtrack. I should probably buy the movie.
10. GBS version. Every so often I wanna app Pat Murphy to Milliways to have him die and the Bar break out in RANDOM ACTS OF CELEBATORY DRUNKENNESS from TOTALLY RANDOM IRISH GUYS.
18. Ayup!
