Lovecraft once said that the most merciful thing in the world was the inability of the human mind to correlate its contents. He meant that humanity simply didn't put the pieces together to see that the universe was at the mercy of things too great and alien and terrible to be believed, but frankly, given how fast my mind correlates its contents, I could do with a little of Lovecraft's mercy now and again...

I'm pretty sure it's the Vorlons' fault that my brain acts the way it does. I mean, yeah, I said I'd accept their offer, but I don't see any other race having the ability to mung a human brain up this way and still have it function when it came out the other side.
