Inspired by
theatrical_muse and
milliways_bar,
kali921, myself, and several other people have started a new community-
sages_of_chaos. It's an advice column of sorts. The columnists (run by the mods) are all characters from various fandoms, including:
- Frank Castle (The Punisher, from Marvel)
- Stewie (from Family Guy)
- Captain Jack Sparrow
- John Constantine
- Jago (an ateva from C. J. Cherryh's Foreigner books)
- Sergeant Preston (look, someone had to be the token normal!)
- Orophin, Gimli and Legolas from LOTR
- Detritus the troll, from Discworld
- Oliver Queen and Hal Jordan, from DC Comics
Likely there will be others. We don't care if you post as someone from a fandom, or if you post as your ordinary LJ self. You'll get an answer either way. Come on along, join the community, ask questions- we'll try to get you an appropriate answer! Or, barring that, an amusing one.

Date: 2004-11-10 04:14 am (UTC)Oh, BTW,Camyn, in a not entirely unrelated question: I've always wanted to know if you saw the tv series about the mountie and his wolf who went to Chicago I think it was to work with a US cop who had Italian ethnic roots, and if you did see it what you thought of it?

Date: 2004-11-10 06:01 am (UTC)By comparison with 1) a homicidal, inexplicably British baby with aims of world conquest; 2) a Marvel Comics character who belongs in the Feng Shui RPG as a variation on the 'Ex-Special Forces' template; 3) guys who wear green spandex and tights in public, and 4) Conjob? Yeah. Although I should note I'm writing him as if the radio series only recently ended, so there's no League of Extraordinary Gentlemen stuff involved.
The TV series you refer to is Due South, and I have only seen about half of one episode. It looks like it would be fun, if I ever got to watch more than that.

*sigh* Honey, we've done this routine before.
Date: 2004-11-10 10:18 am (UTC)*tempts more*
*tempts with stick*
Oh, wait, that's 'don't poke' not 'don't tempt'. Sorry.
