Pimpage!

Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] theatrical_muse and [livejournal.com profile] milliways_bar, [livejournal.com profile] kali921, myself, and several other people have started a new community- [livejournal.com profile] sages_of_chaos. It's an advice column of sorts. The columnists (run by the mods) are all characters from various fandoms, including:

- Frank Castle (The Punisher, from Marvel)
- Stewie (from Family Guy)
- Captain Jack Sparrow
- John Constantine
- Jago (an ateva from C. J. Cherryh's Foreigner books)
- Sergeant Preston (look, someone had to be the token normal!)
- Orophin, Gimli and Legolas from LOTR
- Detritus the troll, from Discworld
- Oliver Queen and Hal Jordan, from DC Comics

Likely there will be others. We don't care if you post as someone from a fandom, or if you post as your ordinary LJ self. You'll get an answer either way. Come on along, join the community, ask questions- we'll try to get you an appropriate answer! Or, barring that, an amusing one.

Hah, too cute! Are you anyone else in that community other than JC and Preston?

Come on down. We are having FAR too much fun - it's probably illegal.

It certainly looks like it!

Sgt. Preston is NORMAL?
Oh, BTW,Camyn, in a not entirely unrelated question: I've always wanted to know if you saw the tv series about the mountie and his wolf who went to Chicago I think it was to work with a US cop who had Italian ethnic roots, and if you did see it what you thought of it?

"Due South" is/was great fun. Benton Frasier (the Mountie in question) combined straight-laced country boy with audacious lawman. His wolf, Defenbacher (named after a former PM of Canada, I think), was an excellent successor to King et al. The best episode, I think, was the one with Leslie Nielson starring as Frasier's mentor. It used to be broadcast on USA Network pretty regularly, but it may be off the air now.

Although I should note I'm writing him as if the radio series only recently ended, so there's no League of Extraordinary Gentlemen stuff involved.

Awwwwww.

Sounds very interesting (and fun!). *thinks of something appropriately embarrassing to ask Gimli and Legolas* >:)
