Down towards the bottom, a poster named 'jewish monkey' said:

worst writing iv ever seen how in the heck can u write like that expecting others to actualy enjoy it

Bit silly really, given that the reviews before have lines like 'Hurry up and write the next chapter.' and 'He also suggested -- in very strong terms -- that you not stop writing.', but I suppose monkey went to review straight from reading and so didn't realise how much of a contrast he'd be.

I told monkey that I ask myself that question every time I sit down to write, was generally polite to him, and went away. Still, I am amused. Troll in the dungeons!

At least you have enough confidence to understand that it's just a troll. :)

Me, I have no confidence when it comes to writing, which is part of why I don't do any anymore. Used to write a lot, stopped about the time I was 12. Wasn't half bad, but only really had one story to tell at the time and decided I didn't want to tell the rest of it. Thanks to you I'm considering writing again, but given all my other time commitments it's still not a sure thing.

The thing that really gets me every time I start considering it these days is that either I don't have a plot in mind, in which case there is no point in writing, or I have a plot in mind, in which case I don't want to ruin and disrespect that plot by writing it badly, so I end up not writing it at all. That and, I worry about my writing style drifting, since it tends to vary widely depending on what I'm reading at the time. I'm not sure I could stay in a stable writing style long enough to finish a piece.

Some people just say that randomly in comment sections. I think they think it's rebellious.

I like your response. Trollmonkey should consider who he is attempting to flame before he tries. I also love that he didn't bother to spellcheck the post. If it was an articulate review of why he thought the writing was terrible, there might be something in there to checklist, but he's clearly just someone who likes to tell people that they shouldn't be there.

Either that, or monkey-boy just has something against crossovers and didn't read the fic. It wouldn't surprise me, knowing what flamers are like.

worst writing iv ever seen

Apparently he's never read his own, then.

I have a personal rule that if someone can't at least express themselves in a coherent manner, I reserve the right to disregard anything they have to say.

There's something someone called Benedict Karlennon once said to me on the subject, "This is a free land and people have every right to speak... they just don't have a sacred right to be listened to." :-)

Mr. King rox my sox. *Fangirl mode: over* Sorry.

But anyway, its good to see that you realised it was a troll. Camwyn, KEEP WRITING DANG IT. Oh, new book to suggest to you. Dead Witch Walking, by Kim Harrison. That, and A Hat Full of Sky, by Terry Pratchett.

Yes. Hat Full of Sky. Bloody brilliant. I'm thinking Tiffany will make a good replacement for Granny W some day in the far, far future.

I will have to look up that other book!

*Nods in agreement* Ditto. But something tells me that Granny has so many people beleiving that she can't die, it'll become true. I remeber reading in Carpe Jugulum, that: "A light faded from can to can't."

So, I'm thinking that if she dose die, she'll never be gone.

Crap. Forgot to add a few things.

At the book signing that I went to, Terry Pratchett said(To me!) that "Some characters I won't be able to kill off." I think Granny is one of them.
