there is a difference between needle-nose pliers and chain-nose pliers and if you are going to rip zipper teeth out you should probably make sure you have the right one of those two next time

just sayin'

not that it can't be done with a combination of chain nose pliers, bent chain nose pliers, and the heavier wire-cutters that came with my first jewelry tool kit, but it's not the most efficient way to go
