got 2/3 of the way through garment construction on my cargo shorts and now I am looking at the step that reads 'trim excess zipper'

while I had realized that this meant doing things with pliers as well as scissors I had not realized I needed to buy a new zipper stop for wherever the zipper wound up ending

at least wawak.com is fast* but this is still a break in what was otherwise good momentum

until the zipper stop arrives I am... well, probably going to finish making the tracing paper templates for a pair of satin pyjama lounge pants, it's either that or the new leggings pattern I just recently got


*ordinarily I am all about 'buy local' but the nearest sewing supply store is in Cambridge and I haven't got a car; bicycling to Everett or wherever the nearest general craft store is requires traveling on several really-not-safe-for-cyclists roads, plus I'm not even sure Michaels carries zipper stops, so that'd mean Joann, and I have no idea where one of those is
