I am awake. This should count for something, because I went to bed last night around one AM and was awakened at 5:30 by the cats wanting to be fed, and then could not go back to sleep because the company's overnight batch process had failed in the wee small hours of the morning and had to be restarted and shepherded along, so I'm running on four and a half hours at the moment... and I have a doctor's appointment at 11:30, so as is my custom I am abstaining from stimulants (other than a few pieces of chocolate) and salt until then.

I will try not to bite anyone today. No guarantees.
