Sep. 28th, 2010 01:15 pmAaaand now VPI says the claim is temporarily denied again because they don't have Shula's complete medical records for his entire life. They said if I submit his complete records as far back as possible with a note saying that there are no medical records extant for him before that, they'll process the claim. I've called the vet and asked them to fax the records and said note. I'm hoping I have the information right because otherwise I'm just getting rapidly more and more frustrated.
I will pay people back. If the insurance company doesn't accept this claim for whatever reason I'm just going to have to do it more slowly. I'm sorry.
(Yes, I know that this is far from the worst thing that could have happened, and yes, I know that if this is as bad as it gets I'm a lucky person and he's a lucky cat, and yes, I know I'm whining about first world problems... but it's my cat, and I love him, and I got the insurance because I wanted to do right by him, and I just don't have veterinary records for him before this year. I'm beginning to feel a bit of an idiot, really.)
