camwyn: (Kamella)
Well, things are going a bit better today, I think. My brain was going a little out of control yesterday, seizing on the insurance stuff and spiraling outward to everything that wasn't going right or that was actively going wrong. I wound up snapping out of the spiral on the way home, but spent most of the rest of the day just calming down and staying level. Should be able to manage today. We'll see how it goes.

Shula's doing better, and seems to be back to his normal self. Now if I can just break him of digging in the litterbox when he hasn't actually used it. Seriously, he'll walk up to the box and start pawing at the litter near the front, either digging in the litter or trying to wipe his paws on the inside of the box, and the end result is litter all over the place. Thank goodness for those catcher mats, but even with them it can be a bit of a mess.

Kamella is doing quite all right herself. She's developed a habit of padding alongside my bed when I'm sitting in it with my laptop, then peeking up over the edge to see if it's a good idea to hop up or not. Since I usually turn off my lights to save on electricity when I'm computing at night, this means every so often I get this little white head popping up out of nowhere, then dropping back down again. I'd film it if the lighting allowed and I had the camera for it.

I've got other things to handle today, but altogether I think I'm going to be all right.
