Jun. 5th, 2005 07:51 pmFirst things first: my cable service seems to have recovered. I will call Comcast in the morning to report this, because I do not want to cancel an appointment for repair if the recovery is only temporary.
Second things second: I have a BLENDER.
It doesn't take much to make me happy.
Oh, and I spent most of today in Manhattan; I tried to skate from the WTC PATH stop to the downtown boathouse, but the path I took led straight to a pedestrian footbridge, so I had to de-skate and WALK *mumble mutter*. But I skated up to the boathouse eventually, and did fifteen or twenty minutes of kayak time, and scratched my knee in the process by accident so now the Hudson has just a little bit of my blood and won't need to take any more, thank you. And then I did some more skating and took a bunch of pictures with my new camera before getting the worst street-corner shish kebab EVER- I ate two pieces and threw the rest away, it was that nasty- and coming home.
And now I have a blender.
