Um.

Having some difficulty finding the person that I'm supposed to see about the whole, you know, checking out thing. No offense to California, but I'd like to go home now. Saturday for preference, Friday evening OK. I've got forms to fill out and a car to return and that could easily be a four or five hour drive if I have to take the car back to Avis in LA... plus I don't know if they changed the maximum daily allowance for my food and stuff so I don't know how much money I have to give back...

I'd like to go home, please. Preferably, in an airplane. Walking across the US takes a while and the socks I have now aren't really suited for that.

All right, I seem

to be on the right track for getting home. I've made my flight arrangements, and I have to fly out of Los Angeles (yech) on Saturday at 12:08 PM (eight minutes after noon). I'll be checking out of my job on Friday around 2:30, and I don't know if they want me to stay at the same hotel tomorrow night or get a hotel in LA instead.

When two became one in the womb

Jane was a puzzle to doctors. She needed a kidney transplant, but her naturally conceived sons could not donate - because they were not biologically related.

Tests eventually showed Jane was a chimera - her mother had been pregnant with non-identical twins who had fused together in the womb to make one person. . .


That is just too freaky for words. There has got to be potential for a fantasy story or something in there somewhere.
