Arbitrary RP decision due to severe lack of background information at http://xmenmovies.wikia.com/wiki/Ms._Maximoff : Ms. Maximoff's first name is Danya. Her father David Maximoff did not take well to her moving in with Erik Lensherr instead of marrying him and hasn't really spoken to her much since she got pregnant with the twins. The part where he and his wife live in a retirement village in Prescott, Arizona while Danya and the kids live in Maryland didn't help much.

I don't have other information to go on for the movieverse, so screw it, I'm filling it in with what I see fit.

Mostly I'm looking for an excuse to give Peter an extra-long-distance practice run, and also to give him a grandfather who uses at least a little Yiddish. Arizona's just for the hell of it, but I did check the White Pages website and found a couple of people surnamed Maximoff living in the area, so I figure what the hell, why not.

..Peter = Pietro? Since I haven't any of the X-Men movies from the 3rd one.

Yeah, long story. Basically, Marvel has the movie rights to the Avengers, but Sony has the rights to the X-men and mutants in general. Since Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch show up in both comics and have been on both teams, the X-Men movies have Quicksilver's name as 'Peter Maximoff' and the Avengers have it as 'Pietro Maximoff'. Also the Avengers movies have him and Wanda as twin citizens of one of the various fictional countries that exist in Marvel and have them getting their powers through creepy-ass experimentation, with no mention of their parentage. The X-Men movies don't show Wanda, but Peter is shown in a household with his mother and a much younger sister and the mother mentions 'your sister' to the little girl; general assumption is that the unnamed sister is Wanda.

Neither movie mentions Magda or Wundagore.
