Oh, come on! I already know Santo is underwater and following Achilles the Medallion-Wearing Nazi's scuba henchmen. Why did you show us sharks if you weren't going to have Santo wrestle one of the sharks? That was totally Chekov's shark!

Or, for the semi-Watsonian guess: maybe he just won SO FAST that the camera couldn't even capture the match.

Meh. Unless there's a shark fight scene later or something I'm going to be very put out. They already had scuba gear scenes and they swam past seaweed, so we knew we were underwater. The shark footage is just plain mean teasing if they don't throw in either a shark fight or a very badly animated puppet shark biting somebody in half after a window collapses.
