I need to get myself some tights. It was twenty-one degrees out this morning and I wasn't up for the overcoat, so I wound up with plenty of nice warm layering on top and basically just my trousers for my legs. Given the wind here, this is not good. Either I wear the overcoat more often or I get tights and wear those under my trousers. (Pantyhose I ain't touchin' unless I absolutely have to. Experience has proven me incapable of keeping a pair of those for longer than three or four wearings before they start laddering like crazy.)

I also need to get a bottle of AnyGlove, which is apparently a solution that can be applied to the fingertips of virtually any glove to create a conductive section that makes the glove work with a touchscreen phone. I could just buy touchscreen compatible gloves, but I LIKE my current gloves thank you very much. If AnyGlove actually works once I get it I'll let you know, and if it doesn't I'll let them know.

One more thing I need to find: the top to my water bottle, or to any resealable bottle I have around the house. Making cold-process coffee overnight so I can have iced coffee in the morning without having to futz around with a coffee maker is fine, but I'd like to be able to bring it with me to work.

I have a kit that came with some of this thread -I haven't used it yet but it's there. Let me know how AnyGlove works, but I suspect thread is cheaper.

Yeah, looking at this the thread's cheaper- AnyGlove is like $10 or $15 a bottle, I forget which. Application every three weeks or so, from what the web site says.

I'd be interested in hearing if the Anyglove works! I have a pair of the conductive thread gloves, but they tend to suck up moisture like crazy. Bad when it's snowing.

I am also interested! I get tired of pulling my expensive gloves into weird positions to use my phone.

Also, cotton leggings are great under trousers, I have found! They last longer, too. I am also super tough on leggings and tights. May I rec Sock Dreams to you? :D?

I'd originally tried to buy a pair of Thinsulate convertible gloves (mitten tops that flip off and on over a pair of fingerless gloves), since the knitted pair of convertibles I have aren't that great below about 30 F. Got regular gloves instead because I didn't read the product description properly... anyway, I'll check out AnyGlove and see if it's any good, and let you guys know.

And I'll check out that Sock Dreams. It looks promising.

The rest, in this case! They are sort of fake fleece, and very absorbent.

Personally I have leggings, and I love them. One particular pair I've been living in this week - I probably shouldn't admit that, but there you go. I'm thinking of investing in some longjohn pants. I can't wear them under my pants all day at work, but sometimes I just pull my jeans on over my uniform trousers when I'm on my way to work.

There's also Digits, which are little conductive pads you pin through the fingertips of knit gloves. Still a bit pricey, but they won't require regular reapplication like AnyGlove.
