Something is very, very wrong with the universe.

I developed a wicked post nasal drip yesterday that left me coughing too badly to sleep most of last night. Still happening this morning, so I took Buckley's today.

It does not taste as bad as I remember it.

I mean, yeah, it tastes awful but I was able to go for three teaspoons, not just two, and did not at any point feel truly compelled to invoke a deity or to beg Mother Nature for her pardon. Either something is wrong with the universe, or I need a new bottle of this stuff, or I need to start buying my cough medicine from Finland...

Yeah. chn_breathmint informs me that they've got a cough syrup in Finland that's flavored with ammonium chloride because the Finns are insane.

Weird! I had to go look it up on Wiki, and I had never imagined that people ate that much ammonium chloride. It's used in all kinds of foods! I hate the taste of licorice, though, so I'll avoid it. :P
