camwynI slept until a little past noon today. My throat hurts, my head is stuffed, and I can hardly smell a thing. I cannot seem to register a fever on the thermometer but I don't know if that's because I don't have one or because this thermometer hasn't really registered anything above 97.5 degrees F in the last four months. It's my mom's birthday; we're going out to dinner tonight, so when I get my act together I'm going to shower, get dressed, and go buy cold pills.

lwood asked about whether I'd seen the same exhibit of Ancient Sichuan Wacky Fun with Bronze as she had encountered in a book the other day... I figure these might answer the question.
Big whacking smiley mask with foot-long pupils - yes, this is one of my user icons.
Human-Like Mask - another user icon. Or possibly not, I've forgotten which of the humanlike mask drawings I used.
Head - This guy was executed in bronze, then covered in gold foil, and looks more humanlike from the side than the front.
Galactus - Oh come on! LOOK at the hat!

Another humanlike mask - This is the other candidate for user icon. I just don't remember right now.
I'm gonna see these guys again soon, they're currently at the Royal Ontario Museum and I'm going on 10 October. After that they're going back to China, so it may be a while before I see them again.
