camwynI can't find the article I spotted on CNN yesterday that mentioned it, but I have to say this much about what I remember: George Zimmerman's lawyer jammed his foot so far into his mouth yesterday that I'm surprised his toes didn't come out the back of his skull.
What kind of person thinks it's okay to say that "his life's been destroyed too" because his client, who killed an unarmed man, has to stay in hiding and avoid the public? Correct me if I'm wrong, but between Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, which one is still breathing? Zimmerman has a crack at starting over again somewhere down the line, somewhere far away from places where people remember him. He can eventually move, find a job, change his name if he has to. He's got a chance- maybe one that sucks, but he's got a chance.
Trayvon Martin? Not so much.
Mr. Attorney, sir, if you're trying to build sympathy in the hopes of I don't even know what, this is not how. A young man is dead. Your client is not. Your client gets to go on. Pull your foot out of your mouth and your head out of your ass and never speak of this again.
