Shula's okay.

At least, I'm pretty sure he is. I just got home a little while ago, and he was at the door making his Imperius Rex meow to demand food. I haven't found any signs of puke or going to the bathroom in inappropriate locations, so that's something, too, and he's just devoured his after-work meal, which is always a good sign with him.

I'm going to see about going out for a ride later, but for now I want to make sure he's all right before I leave the house.

I am the worst person in the world for advice regarding cats at present, and really really really do not take my doom and gloom too seriously or as a cause of worry, but nonetheless I felt I should mention- frequent panting can be a sign of heart problems. Frequent constipation can be a sign of kidney problems. He's probably just fine and had a rough day, but cats are often subtle in their symptoms, so be sure to mention it to the vet if persists or there are any other indicators.

Believe me, I'm keeping an eye on him. He had his urinary bladder trouble this time last year, and speaking from personal experience, "I have to vomit!" plus "I have to poop RIGHT NOW!" plus "I have to PEE SO BAD!" plus "Oh God why is breathing such a chore" adds up to kidney stone. I lost his brother Tiki to kidney failure last May. This is why I freak out so much about what little he shows now.
