So, um, about that hundred pushups workout. Two days ago I did my exhaustion test for week 4 and, ha ha, somehow kind of managed to come out of it having done sixty consecutive pushups. Towards the end they were a good deal slower, but I didn't stop, so... sixty. I just went to the hundredpushups.com site to look up what that means for this week's workouts.

"Depending on the results of your latest test, continue with an appropriate week and column, even if it means you have to complete Week 3 or Week 4 again.

If you managed 31 - 35 push ups, follow column 1.
If you completed between 36 & 40, column 2 is for you.
More than 40 consecutive push ups? Great work! You'll be following column 3."

Which, okay, fine, I can see that. So I go to look at column 3.

DAY 1
REST 60 SECONDS BETWEEN EACH SET (LONGER IF REQUIRED)
> 40 push ups
SET 1 36
SET 2 40
SET 3 30
SET 4 24
SET 5 max (at least 40)

... WHAT.

This isn't a workout to build upper body strength, this is practice at making successful Willpower rolls. WAUGH.

Anyway, if I seem wiped or out of it tonight, that's why. That's what I've got on tap for today after work.
