Jan. 21st, 2011 07:52 amWell, I had my first wimp-out on my pushups last night. Yesterday was Week 4, Day 2, Column 2's workout, which was supposed to be 20-25-20-20-at least 28. I did 20-25-20-20-oh hell this isn't happening 20. My back wasn't the major problem, for all that it was hurting in the usual place; it was my arms, which informed me somewhere around pushup 14 or 15 that they had no intention of playing much longer. I suspect most of this was because I did sets 1 and 2 more quickly than I should've, but yesterday was also the first day of Shark Week for me, which might have factored into it... on a related note, if I do the stairs today at all, I don't intend to do more than basement to 29. (I did something to my left foot last night that involved somehow stepping on the foot's outer edge for no good reason, and it still hurts from time to time. No sense exacerbating an injury if it still feels like that later.)
Meanwhile, outside, it is snowing. It's really quite pretty. I think we have three inches so far if the heap on top of the parking meter near my bus stop was an accurate measure.
