Kamella, sweetie, Mommy loves you, she really does. And she's glad that when you had your hairball this morning, you had it where she'd find it immediately.

She just wishes that it wasn't quite so immediate, because being joggled awake at 2:54 AM by the sound of a cat operating in reverse while sitting on your chest is the wrong kind of memorable experience. At least you were pointed at the bedspread and not my face.

I still love you anyway.

Somehow I've managed to train Chaucer that hacking up hairballs while on the bed is not appropriate. That being said being woken up to the cat doing so and then stepping on it in the dark is still unpleasant.
