I got the cats back from Batya and Alex last night. Kamella spent forty-five minutes curled up in my lap, which marks the third time she's ever willingly sat in my lap. And this morning I woke up with her curled up on my ribs and Shula curled up in the crook of my knees. I got up, fed them, and went back to bed- and as soon as they finished eating they came back to snuggle up with me again.

Pretty sure they've given their forgiveness for me going away.
