Sep. 12th, 2010 09:09 amToday's discovery: when sufficiently motivated, Shula can jump up on top of my refrigerator from a nearby windowsill. 'Sufficient motivation' apparently includes the pill pockets I bought to make sure he gets the anti-spasmodic down his throat. Fortunately I caught him before he could get to the bag, but from now on I'm storing that stuff inside the microwave. Not like I'm gonna turn it on while the meds are in there, and it keeps everything in more or less the same place so I can reach it all at once.
His Nibs spent most of yesterday kinda slow and groggy. I suspect the painkiller. I also suspect the amoxicillin had something to do with it, as it tends to leave me clutching my midsection at awkward times. He still gets the amox, but I'm cutting down a little on the painkiller, as it says on the bag that I can reduce it if it seems to have too much of a sedative effect. We'll see how it goes. He does seem to be feeling better if the litterbox is anything to go by, though.
