Well, the vet says we caught Shula's problem good and early. Infection or crystals in the urea, but no blockage- just inflammation and pain. They're giving him subcutaneous fluids and his first medicine doses now. He won't need surgery or catheterization, just a change in diet and the meds. So... It's good.

I want to thank every one of you who offered your help in any form, prayers or good wishes or anything else, and I promise you that I will reimburse everyone who offered monetary aid as soon as I can. I thank you, and Shula- well, he kind of hates people right now what with the prodding and poking and all, but otherwise he would probably thank you too.
