Aug. 4th, 2010 12:33 amToday at work I practiced with a hundred and forty questions on the operation, configuration, diagnosis, etc. of routers. And some wireless tech questions. But mostly routers. I also did my reps in the company weight room; we have a betting pool going and if you don't do at least as many reps per week on whichever machines you like as you put down at the start of the betting pool, you have to cough up $50. End of the month there's a drawing of names from everyone who did their reps and the winner gets the cash. I'm still working on getting past the most basic level on the chest and shoulder machine but the rest are coming along nicely.
And then I got home and took out my bike and went to get cat food, and then set off for speed training with three fourteen-ounce cans of cat food and a twelve-pound chain in my backpack, and somehow managed to average 14 mph for the trip- and hit 20 mph on a flat stretch of road. Despite the weight on my back and the fact that I was riding a commuter hybrid with a shipping weight of around 25-30 pounds.
you can see why I flopped for most of the evening rather than being productive.
