Jul. 17th, 2010 02:03 pmSo I was up on Washington Street today, unlocking my bike so I could run a few more errands before coming home and studying for my CCNA exam. For once I'd found an actual bike rack with an open space instead of having to lock the bike to a tree or lamp-post. I was about halfway through the process- it's a big heavy chain and I didn't want to hit anyone else's bike with it- when someone pulled in and eased their bike into a slot two or three bikes over. I noticed that it was silver-grey and it had mountain-style knobbly tires and the handlebar said "Crowbar", which is a model of handlebar made by Bontrager for cross-country riding. I smiled a little, because, well, Half-Life, and then I looked up.
He had the nerd glasses. Well, not the total black-framed ones, but they looked close enough- horn rims a la Noah Bennett in Heroes. He had the haircut and almost the hair color and the facial hair.
Apparently Gordon Freeman is a student at Stevens Institute of Technology. The resonance cascade extends through time as well as space.
Look out for the homicidal space chickens.
