Been to the vet, got Shula examined, got Shula vaccinated. He's less than thrilled- he let me pet him and feed him, but he's panting and hiding otherwise. Can't really blame him. He'll get over it, though. Bright side: the vet says he's lost a good amount of weight, and that he's down to 17.1 pounds from 18.5. We're aiming for him weighing 15 pounds by next May, so I may have to adjust his diet a bit to keep him from losing it too fast- I don't want him to get sick because I was trying to help him.

Bide-a-wee will be next after I get the payback from the insurance company. But for now, Shula's good.
