camwynFifteen miles on the bike today. woo.
I'm not doing the Ride to Montauk this year. However, I do plan on doing some form of New England bicycle touring this fall. Any vacation I take during the summer will be of the "staying right here and SLEEPING THANK YOU VERY MUCH" variety, but i do plan to travel at least for a few days this autumn. And it will involve Bicycling, and it will involve Bike New England's Ipswich and Newburyport trips, and it will be good- but since New England is not known for being flat I should like to be able to endure and do hills and all those good things without being left behind by the other riders. So. Fifteen miles today. More as the summer progresses.
Oh, and the bike computer says I did 15.15 miles at an average of 10.47 mph. I'm guessing that my time going over the hill that crosses the light rail tracks, and then having to get off and walk when I took a wrong turn and wound up in someone's parking lot full of goose poo, probably borked my average speed. (The Bike New England ride is for an average of 12 mph cruising.)
