The next time you have to sleep on the couch because you gave away the old bed on Freecycle and the new one hasn't arrived yet, please remember that the couch is a futon and can be unfolded to provide a full-sized sleeping area rather than just the territory you sit on. It's not like you have a coffee table in that room taking up the space any more.
That being said, I have my new bed set up and the mattress came today and it is marvelous. I will be very happy sleeping here tonight, I am sure.
