Well. I will. I bought it yesterday at Macy's, and it'll be arriving on Saturday. Apparently Simmons has a line of mattresses named after trees, not sure why. The one I wound up with is the Alder, and if there is something mythologically disturbing about that I'd appreciate finding out; all I remember about alder in stories is a line from Silver On The Tree from when Bran and Will were gathering twigs from the trees in the Lost Land with Gwion. "Y gwernen. Alder. Growing as it does in the valley, with its feet wet, with John Rowlands cursing it up and down for a weed." It's a comfortable mattress, firm enough to make me happy without feeling like it's going to fracture something by being too hard if I drop onto it heavily, and the version I got comes with a pillowtop layer that's really quite nice. So, alas, I won't be making my own memory foam mattress any time soon. Oh well.

Got to list my old bed on freecycle now, I think.
