Dear Brain: you know how I said no trying to jog up the stairs yet? I MEAN IT. Also? Yesterday we jogged down all the stairs. We're not doing that today. Stretching before and after obviously didn't cut it, so we're just going to have to take other steps.
YES I know we need to establish the habit. But you know what else we need? MOBILITY. IN GENERAL. Not that I'm not glad the pain is muscular rather than joint-based, since stair climbing can be hell on the knees, but I'd like to be able to walk tomorrow when I go to meet up with my family for the parade. Call it an easy training day.
YES I know we're taking Thursday as an overall off-day. BIG WHOOP.
I'm taking two ibuprofen tablets this morning. Do not make me chorf down any more of them this afternoon or tomorrow. Body may be the worst roommate ever sometimes, but this one is all YOUR fault for insisting on pushing it too far.
