camwyngnh. Brane, please. We have played two (2) Halo games ever, the first one and Halo 3 ODST. We have never read any of the supplemental material other than what is in the wiki. We do not need to postulate a universe in which the firing of the Halo Array wiped out all sentient life capable of Flood infestation for three galactic radii, thereby providing the extinction-level event necessary for the Cybertronians to get out from under the tentacles of the Quintessons and develop as their own culture, no matter how cool it would be to have Master Chief finally have a respectable alternative to the Warthog...
