Well, I've gotten Ellen to Vault 92. She's found the Soil Stradivarius and has no idea what it is, other than a violin in a hermetically sealed case. She's got it with her at Milliways, but she's only mentioned it to one or two people so far- I need to have her ask someone about it. That's not all that important, though.

What's important is that her next few moves are going to involve Old Olney and then a return to Megaton, probably with a brief detour to Agatha's House as a consequence of getting mildly lost on the way home. Old Olney is practically mandatory- you can SEE it from the Vault 92 entrance, and you don't realize the Deathclaw presence is there until you're already getting your armor ripped up. Mostly I just want her to get the prototype medic armor out of the sewers, because I find the idea of polite little Ellen in a suit of armor that thinks it's R. Lee Ermey to be funny. I can get her into and out of Olney alive on her own if I have to, but if someone wants to send a pup along with her for great screaming and dealing with killer monster mutant death lizards, I'm good with that. (I know moonlup expressed an interest in sending John Roxton. Not sure if RL will let her at this point, but if it does, I'm groovy.)

After that she's going back to Megaton, where she'll pick up Amata's distress signal and deal with Trouble on the Homefront. Yes, Dad's not dead yet. I can only justify her not hearing about revolution due to her and Dad leaving for so long before it would all be settled one way or another. She'll take it a little better than she thought, at least until she gets to Megaton, when I may give her a bit of an 'oh God what' moment. That may be the point at which I send her off to join the Regulators, at least for a little while- something that lets her roam the Wasteland and get paid will give her a chance at finding Vault 112. (She won't locate Vault-Tec HQ until she has to find Vault 87.) I think from there she'll have to deal with the Temple of the Union stuff in the city...

Anyway, if anyone wants to deal with killer monster mutant death lizards, or help a bunch of escaped slaves establish a sanctuary in the DC ruins, or just help investigate the Wasteland in hopes of finding a GECK or the man who invented it, ping me and we'll see what we can set up.
