Quick question, those of you who're familiar with the non-human races in Mass Effect: the elcor, those trunkless elephant guys who emote by pheromone and sound like Eeyore. Do they have hands? I'm almost sure I saw one of them use a forelimb to hand Shepard something, but I couldn't tell for certain.

I ask because I'm considering RP'ing one, and I need to know how they manipulate objects. If they aren't knuckle-walking on their forelimbs I'm going to have to assume they've got very long prehensile tongues.

Prehensile lips might work too - llamas, for example, have some very flexible ones.

Unfortunately, the elcor face doesn't extend quite far enough forward for that to work- the ones we see on the Citadel have some kind of rug type thing on their backs, and sleeves on their forelimbs. Since they don't have necks, they'd have to have someone else put their back-rugs on. Otherwise, that'd work.
