I let you off the leash when we're on the PATH train to work so that you can get some random stretchy exercise and work off whatever crap didn't get knocked loose and flushed away during the night. You are supposed to run around, randomly entertain yourself, and drop the remains of whatever horrible smelly thing you were playing with when we actually reach 33rd Street.

The fact that you're still running around with your tail high and "Hey, wouldn't a De Lorean alt mode be perfect for an Autobot speedster like Blurr?" clenched in your jaws means we're gonna have to have some words. Where did you dig that up, anyway?

To the degree that certain incarnations of Blurr move too fast for the eye to follow and might, yes, leave flaming tracks of fire behind them.

It totes would, y'know.

Well, yes. It would be. It's just that Blurr's not even IN the AU plot and I don't know when he'd be showing up, either. I know who's going to be arriving on Earth for the Rise of the Fallen plot, and the first few mechs to be arriving once that's over. Blurr's not on the list, so the De Lorean's going to have to wait.

(But for the record, I have Blurr as being part of the same cohort as Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Sunstreaker- and Sunny and Swipes are SSC Aero TT Ultimates rather than Lambos on the grounds that the Aero TT Ultimate is currently listed in Guinness as the fastest production car in the world and I think that would appeal to their egos.)

So it is, although I've heard rumors that the better known Bugatti Veyron, which has clocked a mighty two MPH slower at top speed, is not only mind-blowingly fast, but is also a perfeectly viable luxury car with all the expected trimmings for such, and is eminently superior in all aspects of handling besides raw speed.

True dat. Bugatti builds 'em nice and comfy. And frankly, back when I was subscribing to Motor Trend in the early 90s, my favourite performance car was in fact a sedan- the AMG Hammer, a reworked Mercedes-Benz capable of carrying a family of six to church in leather-seated comfort at something like 170 miles per hour.
