That's not the only Broken Arrow to have occurred in US waters or on US soil. The Greenpeace Big Book O' Nuclear Accidents has a whole list of them.

That said...it's not a nice thing to think about.

Yeah. Although, without the trigger mechanism, it really is pretty safe.
