It's been a long week despite it being only four days. Job stress, hormones, and the ever-so-lovely moment yesterday when I didn't dare so much as move because I wasn't sure if what I was feeling in the restroom was a recurrence of the kidney stone or not (it wasn't).

This morning I discovered that the little Italian deli/wine shop on Second Street between Grand and Adams is Italian enough to sell Manhattan Special coffee soda.

That makes up for a bit. Not all of this week, but... a bit.

I need to finish reading Paradise Lost sometime soon. Got an urge to do another Classic of Western Literature in One Thousand Words, and right now I'm only up to the part where- hn. I think it's Raphael- is in the middle of filling in Adam and Eve about all the crap Satan pulled when he was still in Heaven.
