Fun fact about Hoboken: they celebrate St. Patrick's Day welllllll in advance of the actual day. Mostly they celebrate it in the bars. And there are a LOT of bars.

I probably should've checked the parade dates on all of those signs in the bar windows proclaiming them to be official parade stops and telling people to remember the massive fines for drinking in public or expelling bodily fluids in public, judging by the number of people wandering the streets dressed in green....

Dear Nation of Ireland: I am so, so sorry.

That's lame. I come from around Boston, where we take St. Patrick's Day pretty damned seriously, and that's just lame.
