*looks out window* I was supposed to be going to Wappingers Falls today. When I walked out of Batya's house yesterday my feet went out from under me on the front walk and my purse not only hit the ground, but slid the rest of the way to the main sidewalk. Had to walk on lawns to get to the end of the block, as it was a sheet of ice there.

This morning I checked the weather.com forecast and saw National Weather Service warnings for Peekskill all the way north that amounted to '1-3 inches of snow, half an inch of ice, go find some Manchurian ponies if you intend to come up here'.

I'm workin' from home.

I know how you feel. Mom skidded past the driveway coming home. When I went outside it took me all I could not to let my left leg go one way and my right leg go another way and make me a master at the splits.
