Sweet zombie Eris. The security guard at the polling place said they were lining up at 4:30 this morning and that she hadn't seen this kind of turnout in fifteen years.

Fifteen years? There must have been one exciting, special election the year after Clinton won. ;)

I'm guessing that was a mayoral election year in Jersey City. I wasn't living there at the time, though.

When I got to my voting place at 5:20pm, they told me they had just had their 1500th voter come through.

I was voter number 244. I got there at 8 AM.

The judge was relating some stories to some people in line- she had never seen anything like it this morning, either.
