dear Pomeranian in 4D:

I had to throw away my last two ibuprofen because they'd expired over a month ago. I am currently at home sitting very still because my head hurts like a mad thing and I get nauseous every time I stand up or move my head around. If you start barking again I will have to come over to your apartment and throw my cat at you, and while he has no foreclaws he probably outmasses you by a good amount. Then we would have a broken dog, an angry cat, and a violently ill human.

so please don't start barking because I have no way of making it not hurt my head right now.

Your apartment has a very weird idea of what a no-dogs policy means, I think.

On an early visit to the building I met a woman coming out the front door who was walking her Brussels Griffon. My father reminded me that just because my lease says no pets doesn't mean everyone's does.

although personally I think it's mostly people ignoring that clause.

You do know that OTC drugs are still good after the due date? I don't have the article link handy at the moment, but apparently shelf life for those things can go as long as five years.

That's where I went, actually. I thought camwyn was being figurative, and that the barking was so painful that it went through time to be the source of all her headaches, the Platonic Ideal of a Headache-Inspiring Bark, if you will.

It's probably because, in my experience, apartment numbers are building number + floor number + apartment number, instead of floor number + apartment letter.

Nah, this building is the only one of its group. There's brownstones that belong to other landlords on either side of us, so no building number.
