Large Hadron Collider's goin' online today.

Crowbar materialized in the server closet a couple of weeks ago for no apparent reason. Nobody's claimed it yet or taken it back.

New York gets hit by an LHC-created resonance cascade effect, you know I'm gonna be ready.

Good, innit? The other one, Has The Large Hadron Collider Destroyed The Earth, has even better source code.

*. . . giggling hysterically at a computer station in the hallway*

The source code wins. Hard. Thank you for pointing it out.

Clearly, your office has Gordon Freeman's crowbar from the first Half-Life game. ;-)

I am using my RP journal because I am lazy.

Hopefully, there will be no headcrab zombies. However, if the G-man dumped the crowbar near your office the original Hazard Suit should be nearby too. You just need to find it. ;-)

I boggle at your neighbors. Whys is Tommy Hilfiger renting space in a news building?!

It's too easy to say that the staff of Faux News would only be improved.

Again, how can that even possibly be anything other than an improvement?

The poor headcrabs would die of malnutrition if they coupled with those people.

I disagree. They'd thrive.

All that totally unused neural matter....

That's where most of Fox News's operations are. I just had a rather horrible image of the entire staff of Fox News and TV Guide being turned into headcrab zombies.

*puzzled* How could you tell the difference?

...possible. I've never gotten close enough to anyone from Faux News to check.

It already went online ;)

Well, currently it's only one beam, when the next beam is scheduled to go online and crash into this one is on the 21st. So there is no real excitement till then.

Ooh, so all the parties are a bit early. Not to see how many people are geeky enough to party on the right date...

Hmm. The One True Cam Wyn? Doesn't quite work the same. However, if it goes down, tell the Vortigaunts I said hi.

Did you hear that Fark and DiggIt clubbed together to send the people out at the LHC a repainted crowbar and a HalfLife strategy guide?

My house is being renovated at the moment, so we've got a couple crowbars belonging to my dad lying around. I am prepared!

(Damn, I need a Half-Life icon. This is as close as I can get.)

I don't know if you've seen this yes, but there's an LHC rap music video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j50ZssEojtM

I can't help but think that somewhere, on some forgotten Black Mesa workstation's hard drive, there's something just like this about the Lambda Complex test chamber, with a young, innocent, HEV-suited Gordon Freeman dancing the cabbage patch the background. Badly.
