Dear Microsoft:

Never, never, ever make it convenient for people to get their email AND their SharePoint threads AND their RSS feeds in one place again. Come to think of it, get out of the RSS feed business entirely. Also, don't you dare offer multiple different searching options that require entirely separate downloads. I had to upgrade the entire accounting office to Office 2007 last night and they're all "wtf?" at the array of different options Outlook insists on throwing at them.

We won't even go into the whole 'ribbon' thing.

So what you're saying is, I should be glad D*ll blocks Outlook 2007 from talking RSS? Because I think I'm okay with that.

Yeah. While there are people in this office who probably could use RSS feeds to supplement their work info during the day, we have other tools that generally do the trick, so it's just sloooow because it adds system overhead unless I turn it off on every single upgraded install.
