No chicken report today. With any luck I should have Gordon to Xen by tomorrow, which should provide whole new realms of screaming.

... I keep trying to think of what I'm supposed to write next and it's not coming. Bleh. I'll have a better post later today, probably.

Really? I was waiting for the "What the fuck are teleportation pads doing a nuclear reactor?!" Because the Lambda Core is all about the wacky.

Oh, as of the time I posted that, I hadn't gotten far enough to realize I was seeing teleportation pads. I mean, yeah, the G-Man blinked out of sight, but I honestly thought he was doing that under his own power. I swear on my eyes I had no idea what the yellow thing was.

I did, however, get to Xen last night, so when I get home today there will be the post of WHAT THE HELL, PEOPLE directed at the fine, fine team behind Lambda Core. And when I say 'fine, fine' I mean 'obviously failed a couple dozen SAN rolls'.

Yeah, there're lots of things about Black Mesa where you end up having to wonder just how scientists who weren't Gordon got around from one place to another in their non-disastrous day-to-day lives.
