As of last night, my nephew was in the hospital with pneumonia. They expect him to be there around 24 hours. He's three. I hope he fares better than I did, poor kid.

Me, I'm not feeling so great this morning- lot of shivering, lot of stuffed head- but I don't have a fever and my nose isn't running or anything, so it's off to Secaucus I go for blade server assembly and partial configuration. If I somehow get out before the work day ends, I would like to trundle back home and sleep some more. We'll see if that's possible or if I even want to by the time I get done.

There's a company that does outsourced data centers there. They figured that a lot of outlet shopping = electrical infrastructure and Secaucus = not much reason for people to bother an unmarked building, so they put their New York area data center in Secaucus. We're working on moving my office's servers to an offsite location there.

Well, from my personal tangles with pneumonia, it's unpleasant but eminently treatable, so he should get out of this a little cranky and quite spoiled, but otherwise fine.
