Feb. 8th, 2008 09:54 amWell, I got through yesterday without worse than getting very loud and snappish with the HP representatives when they told me 'no no no we cannot register the care pack without the serial number, where is the serial number, there are twelve serial numbers associated with this order, tell us which one the system is even though the device is at a remote location and you have never opened the packaging yourself', so I suppose that's something. I'll be getting out early, too, so that's good as well.
I will be taking a train this afternoon to go to a winter renfaire/con thing called Wicked Faire; it looks like it's a renfaire built on the grounds of a Holiday Inn, with a Cthulhu-themed story instead of Ynne Dayes Of Olde When Kniggits Were Bolde (& Privies Notte Ynvented). The faire itself should be fun, but I'm looking forward to the train ride almost as much. It means I'm going somewhere that I can't be expected to do anything for anyone, because I'm on the train. So sorry! I cannot come and fix your computer! I cannot even remote into it- I'm on the train!
... yeah, petty of me, I know. But some days that's a big thing, for me.
The last train back's around ten or elevenish. I'll probably get some RPing in when I get home if I"m not too exhausted, so hopefully some threads can be wrapped up and stuff.

Date: 2008-02-08 03:17 pm (UTC)oh, wait. Penn wouldn't be practical, would it? The train to Edison leaves from Newark Penn Station, and the train from New York Penn goes to Newark Broad Street, so we'd have to light-rail over to Newark Penn. Simpler to take the PATH after all.
*thinks a minute*
Could meet at 34th Street PATH, at 14th Street PATH, or at WTC PATH; WTC trains run pretty much WTC - Exchange - Grove - JSQ - Harrison - Newark. Preference?
