Oh, hush. I'm still trying to get the brain to let go of the concept of mapping Peck to Starscream, Gozer to Megatron, and Cthulhu or Yog-Sothoth or somebody to Unicron. I'd say Azathoth but he's got a herald, and Nyarlathotep doesn't take competition well, so we're stuck with the idea of tentacular marshmallowy HELL in the Galvatron design that results from letting the Mythos upgrade ol' Goze.

Gary Seven having to deal with the version of the Transformers movie past where Megs got moved in '69 instead of in '32, and an experimental starship was built with Megatron-derived tech and went through a wormhole and all, is comparatively minor by comparison.

At least the Enterprise would only have to deal with big mean machines and not tentacles. They know what to do with big mean machines.

There was a burst of purple-white light too bright to watch, and a stink of ozone, as if lightning had struck upwards from below. But no thunder came, and for several long, tense moments afterwards, there was silence.

"Starscream," said Megatron at last, reaching up one hand to wipe the smudges of scorched, ionized airborne soot away from his face.

"Yes, Megatron?"

"When did you intend to inform me that the humans had developed particle stream weaponry?"
