drharper, maybe some of you others reading this, I may need your assistance. I seem to have acquired a new headvoice whom I scarcely know. I figured I'd just write his part for a scene in Quinn Abercromby's world, but within the space of two tags he moved in and I totally only know a few scraps of his canon...

*rather ruefully looks at new head denizen* As if I didn't have enough soldiertypes and shield-arms of civilization living in here, I had to get 2007-movie Ironhide.

Alas, you could probably fill the Pacific Ocean with what I don't know about Transformers (they're robots! they change shape! the toys are ridiculously fun to play with!), so I'll be of little real help in that endeavour.

From having seen the movie and read your OOM in the same weekend, I can definitively say your Ironhide is spot-on to that bit of canon - which is no less than I expect from you, of course. *thumbs up*

And I look forward to the time when you've satisfied yourself as regards knowing the rest of it. :D I really respect your attention to detail as a writer.

I'm not arguing about that, Im' just surprised about being good at him. I just put a character up for adoption because the character wasn't working out for me no matter what I tried. Having one spring up that naturally is something else again.

Yeeeah. Last night before we started the scene I loaded up the Wikipedia entry on him- not even the Transformers wiki, just the mainstream one- and did some serious blinking.

Not that I didn't read it all, just to get a feel for all of the versions, but that was sorta the moment when I knew I was in over my head if I didn't get help.
